Babancú, a lovely concept store located in the heart of Valletta, sells handcrafted and luxurious accessories – anything from a uniquely designed fedora to the perfect Summer tote. I am incredibly moved by visionaries who seek to create unique, high quality items, and so I was keen to photograph a few of the store’s creations.

Brand founder Lorena immediately expressed her love for my beloved brown theme and vintage touch, and asked that the photos are shot in my style. We initiated our collaboration with this gorgeous, handcrafted bag – a perfect summer accessory:

Lorena requested a handprinted illustration to promote her hats on Instagram in a unique way; we brainstormed multiple approaches before settling on a neutral, impressionist sketch in pen and watercolour.
