When I first brainstormed a photoshoot for Alina, the words ‘power’, ‘grace’, and ‘femininity’ came to mind. It is true, after all – Alina embodies these very characteristics. I put together a quick moodboard, but weather changes and illnesses that crept up on us forced a different plan to evolve. I dressed her up in my go-to suit paired with a red lip, and we walked through the streets of Sliema, stopping at random architectural corners for the purpose of a good shot. Alina is a journalist and an Instagram connoisseur. She’s a mysterious woman; the kind you just have to explore the mind of, and a sensitive soul.
