I have always had an affinity for charming coastlines, great wine and adorable cobblestone streets. All that and more is why I’ve long craved a visit to Sicily, a gorgeous neighbouring destination I had previously only visited once in my life! This weekend getaway was randomly suggested over one too many cocktails and just came to life rather quickly. James and I spent a day in Catania, doing pretty much nothing but wandering aimlessly and sipping on negronis, prior to feasting on two incredibly filling pizzas – mine being a pistachio one. Sunday was then spent in Taormina, certainly being one of the most gorgeous seaside locations I have ever seen. We enjoyed great seafood and a lengthy nap on the beach.
