Balanced Lifestore is a newly-opened store that promotes a healthy, happy life. Beautifully packaged and luxurious skincare products by MALINNA and Skin&Tonic can be found at the store, while a newer range of products are set to be introduced soon!

I was entrusted with building a social image from scratch, which required a careful analysis of the brand and an understanding of its founder’s goals. The aim was to create a youthful social identity utilising photography with floral elements and feminine + earthy tones that mirrored the brand’s website design and store decor.

I sourced visual inspiration that represented the brand and the message we were trying to promote. We wanted the imagery to tell a story and promote an overall way of life, rather than simply the products. We wanted to encourage eating healthy, looking after your skin and exercising.

DESIGN

Quote graphics were created for filler content; these helped create a clean, minimal grid while also helping narrate the brand’s story through their message.

CONTENT PLAN

We used beige and white as base colours for the feed, to create a modern image that resonated with a young audience. The light colours also felt soothing, which was what we wanted to convey.

ARTICLES

The brand founder aimed to turn the web shop into an online magazine, consisting of articles related to health and wellness and interviews with thought leaders.
