I cannot believe it is soon time for Malta Fashion Week again – Nothing is more exhilarating than sitting at a fashion show and observing the many designs, and even more so when seated in one of Malta’s lovely venues. This will be my third time enjoying the fashion shows at Malta Fashion Week, and my second time partaking in it. Although I had photographed the scene backstage last year, I was unable to report the shows – Mainly due to having had my blog hacked around that same time 🙁 However, I will be blogging for Malta Fashion Week this year – and providing you readers with an insight to what goes on behind the scenes. As some of you may know, I am primarily a Fashion Design student, but showcasing a collection of mine at Malta Fashion Week was not really an option this time round, due to having A Levels throughout that same week. Being a perfectionist by nature is the reason I’d like to make sure I dedicate my time entirely to my designs, when I do present a collection publicly. With that being said, I have been working non-stop on designing collections and am really excited for all that’s to come.
Earlier today, I attended Malta Fashion Week’s Marketing Campaign Launch – which I was fortunate enough to have been invited to. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere as I walked through Madliena Lodge’s cute interior with a glass of prosecco in hand and a camera in the other, observing the ensembles worn by accomplished bloggers and designers. I am a relatively shy person, but it always feels great to surround yourself with people who share your passion. I also got to meet the lovely blogger, Graziella!
